What is an Illusion? A magical experience, or a distortion of reality? When do we know if objects really exist or they are a projection of our mind? 

This bathroom cabinet, using mirrors and symmetry, creates an illusion of three whole cups (containers) suspended on the outer wall. Actually, the cups are cut in half and reflected on the mirror's surface. The cups serve as a mysterious handle to open the cabinet, which contains three real, whole cups. As the interior walls are mirrored, there is a further kaledioscopic illusional effect which adds to the distortional sense.

The cabinet is made in wood, whereas the cups are casted in ceramics.
